Blogtober | Boozy Apple Cider Mule - Recipe
One of the best parts of this month and season is APPLE CIDER! Not apple juice, not Martinelli’s - real, old fashioned, thick and murky Apple Cider! A few years back, Mr. San Diego started playing around with Fall drink ideas and he made this super simple-yet-delicious mule. Normally mules use vodka but we’re a whiskey household! I love this drink because it’s appropriate for the season and is absolutely delicious!
We hope you love this recipe as much as we do. Scroll down for the ingredients and directions!
INGREDIENTS
Apple Cider
Ginger Beer
Whiskey
Apple Slice + Cinnamon Sticks for Garnish
DIRECTIONS
Add a handful of ice to cup.
Add 2 ounces of whiskey (or however much you want, you drunk).
Fill cup 1/2 way with apple cider.
Fill the rest of the cup with ginger beer.
Add apple slices and cinnamon sticks to look fancy or to snack on. The apple, that is. Not the stick. Sheesh.
Drink (responsibly) and enjoy! It’s refreshing and delicious!
