Reese's Book Club x Hello Sunshine
Did you know that Reese Witherspoon has a Book Club?!
Every month, Reese picks one book that she loves and shares it with all of us! No membership required. She focuses on promoting female authors and stories with women at the center of them. This is right up my alley! Reese's media production company, Hello Sunshine, is even going to adapt some of them for the screen.
Reese has been curating her incredible collection of book picks since July 2017. It has been about two months since I have been following the Book Club and I look forward to seeing what she picks next. I have already read a few picks from previous months and I absolutely loved them - LOVEDDDDDD them!
I am enjoying her Book Club so much that I have decided to follow along with her each month and share my thoughts on this blog of mine! You can expect a new post from me after every new pick is announced, along with a rating of Good, Really Good, or OMG So Damn Good!
If you would like to find out more about her Book Club and/or follow along as well, here are some helpful links!

Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman
Sometimes we take human connections for granted. Basic communication skills that seem obvious to some can be completely foreign to others. You're reminded of that in this hilarious and charming novel. Eleanor Oliphant is an incredible character and her journey is as overwhelming as it is wacky.

The Alice Network by Kate Quinn
This book is ENTHRALLING! One woman is a spy from WWI. The other woman is an American on a mission to find her cousin. Both of their stories are incredible and their adventures together change them in ways they could have never expected. They're strong, they're smart, they're completely different. This book is definitely one that I plan to re-read!

Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng
I already posted a blog on this book and you find it here: link. "Connie Ng’s characters are as complicated as they are human. Family dynamics are slow to develop and that is what makes this novel absolutely incredible. You immediately establish an opinion about every single character, and every one of those opinions is challenged as you find out more."

The Rules of Magic by Alice Hoffman
Have you seen the movie Practical Magic with Sandra Bullock or read the book? This is a prequel to it! Set in the 50's and 60's, the Owens siblings navigate the difficulties that are thrust upon them due to their family history, tragedy, and learning how to manage their magic.

The Light We Lost by Jill Santopolo
Overwhelming circumstances, tragedy, and passion make this an impossible love story. Choices lead them down a maze that breaks hearts and really makes you think about the choices you've made in your own life. It's a depressing book but it is still thoughtful and sweet.
