Say Hello to Koufax!
What is better than a rescue pup? TWO RESCUE PUPS! Say hello to the newest member of our family, Koufax! We adopted this gorgeous little guy on December 22nd and we are all over the moon in love with him. He’s a three-month-old German Shepherd mix (we think) that was rescued as a baby from the Fort Worth Animal Shelter by the amazing people at Cody’s Friends Rescue! They are the rescue company that we adopted Kenobi from, and we were thrilled to be able to work with and adopt from them again.
Koufax is such a sweet, affectionate, curious, slightly mischievous, and gentle little pup. He and Kenobi are the BEST of friends, and where one goes, the other follows. They are rambunctious like brothers but soooo sweet together. We are SO LUCKY that they get along famously and without any dominance or aggression. They are a dream come true!
For those wondering about his name….yes, he is named after the legendary Dodgers pitcher, Sandy Koufax. As a long time fan of the 2020 World Series Champions, I thought the name Koufax was the perfect name for my little Dodger Dog! Mr. San Diego got to name Kenobi (and he's a lifelong Star Wars fan), so it was only fair that I got the rights to name Koufax!
