Spills the Beans Coffee and Bagel | San Diego
Mr. San Diego and I were looking for an evening cup of coffee and we stumbled upon this cute little spot Downtown! Spill the Beans Coffee and Bagel is nestled in the Gaslamp District and is open until 7pm every day.
This hip coffee spot immediately grabs your attention with their glowing neon blue "Pot Head" sign and sets the tone for the play on words you'll find on their menu. While the location is not very large, they take advantage of their wrap around bar top and even have some seating outside.
One of the things I love about this spot is that they brew Dark Horse coffee and a lot of other San Diego brands. They have a variety of flavor options for their lattes and I went with honey and cinnamon. It was a delightful latte with some great people watching and had the electric feel of being Downtown. They are a part of a three-business collective - so once you're done with your coffee, you can stroll through the back and into a retro restuarant or a hair salon!
If you're looking for a cool place to get an evening cuppa-joe, this is a cool place to visit!
