Petco Park + "Cardiff Crack" Nachos | San Diego
Baseball is back! <3
Mr. San Diego has been a lifelong Padre fan. I have been a long time Dodger fan and an absolute lover of baseball. For the past five years, we have gone to every Padres Home Opener together and have taken the day off work to celebrate the "National Holiday"! Even though our baseball rivalry complicates our marriage for 162 days every year, I can't help but admit that Petco Park is super cool. Around every corner is a taste of San Diego, ranging from all types of local craft beer to popular local restaurants. The offerings are impressive and you could spend the whole game walking around the stadium and find something new.
One of the BEST places to grab some grub in the entire ballpark is Seaside Market. You can smell their tri-tip, famously known as Cardiff Crack, from a mile away! Seriously, the tri-tip has its own Wikipedia page. Mr. San Diego and I went to the first two home games and got our own orders of the nachos each night. They are out-of-this-world good.
While you're nom-ing on your nachos, grab an Alesmith .394 Pale Ale or a fancy-schmancy Michelada and enjoy the deliciousness!
We had a great time at the ball park, as we always do! It's baseball, people! BASEBALL!
xoxo
