My 2019 Favorites!
Even though my Favorites blog posts aren’t my most popular, they are one of my favorites to write! I love sharing the products and things that I find useful or amazing. There are so many amazing things that I loved last year, but here is a list of the things I really, realllllly loved! These are all items that have made my life better or easier in some way.
Check them out and let me know if you’ve used them and love them too!

Ninja Foodie
I am obsessed with our Ninja Foodie - we use it several times a week! It is an air fryer, a steamer, a slow cooker, and a pressure cooker – plus it dehydrates, sears, bakes, and broils. We use it every time we make wings because it’s perfectly cooked and crispy on the outside. I make my pot roasts in there and I can sear it first, then pressure cook, then keep it on the slow cooker setting. We seriously use it for everything, and it is SO easy to clean. We can throw all the pieces into the dishwasher, or just easily wipe everything down!

TheraGun- the “liv”
Getting old sucks. Getting old and trying to get in shape sucks even more. Why? Because everything hurts, nothing bends the way it used to, and my already high rate of injury has exponentially increased. However, I kept seeing advertisements for the Theragun and it really, really intrigued me. Naturally, I was suckered into buying it but I’m so glad I did. It beats your sore muscles into submission but feels amazing after you’re done. I use mine all the time and I’ve noticed a significant difference in muscle flexibility and recovery when I do. I purchased the cheapest model, the “Liv”, and it has one speed setting and only one attachment. The more expensive models have multiple speed levels and interchangeable attachments, which I wish I had but it’s so darn expensive.

Molly’s Suds + Wool Dryer Balls
I’ve been on a serious “clean-living” kick and it started around August of last year. Slowly but surely, I’ve been replacing the products in my home with non-toxic (or less toxic) items. From my bath and body products, to my fragrances, to my food. One of the products that blew my mind away was Molly’s Suds laundry detergent. I read about it on the EWG website and it had an “A” rating. I thought I’d give it a try but was completely skeptical. How can a chemical-free powder with a tiny little scooper clean my laundry properly?! YOU GUYS. The stuff WORKS just like the Tide that I was using before – but, without the chemicals. However, I always use TWO full scoops in my laundry (not the recommended one scoop) and I add the detergent to the base on the washer and not into the powder-container-thing. This is the recommended method of HD washers. I’m never going back to regular laundry detergent!

Let’s talk wool dryer balls. These are just balls of wool that are meant to replace your fabric softener. Again, your girl was super skeptical. I didn’t see how in the world they could possibly work but ONCE AGAIN, I was blown away! My laundry came out of the dryer without an ounce of static and I’m pretty sure my clothes dry a few minutes faster than they did before. The only thing that took getting used to was the lack of smell. I’ve been so used to my laundry smelling like Gain fabric softener, that the fact that my laundry had no scent at all really confused me for a while. Even though I add peppermint oil to the wool balls, the oil doesn’t really do much – but I’m used to boring smelling laundry now. On the up side, my skin LOVES that my clothes aren’t covered in chemicals anymore! I’m convinced that washing my clothes and bedding in non-toxic products has been one of the biggest reasons I haven’t had an asthma attack in my sleep in months, and my eyes aren’t red and puffy in the mornings like they usually are. I’m convinced the fragrance in my previous washing detergent and fabric softener was irritating me and I didn’t even know it! LOVE IT!

Bagnet - the bag magnet
It’s a magnetic for your bag! It clips on to my bag and will hold my super heavy purse on any magnetic surface! Seriously! I put it on the back of chairs when out to dinner, on the bathroom wall when there isn’t a hook, on my car when my hands are full and I’m loading/unloading something. I use it every workday when I stick it to my metal filing cabinet. It is such a brilliant invention!!!

ZeroWater 10-Cup Pitcher
I had been using a different brand of water-filtration filters for years until I discovered the ZeroWater pitcher. Did you know that other brands don’t filter your water as well as you think they do? Our pitcher comes with a digital meter to measure how many “dissolved solids” are in your water, and when we use our ZeroWater, the measurement is literally zero. When we used the other brand, it was in the mid 200’s, and was only a little less than our tap water.
